Opinion & Description
The frosts in the spring and the heat wave at the beginning of the summer resulted in a small harvest and a significant heterogeneity between the southern and northern harvests. The less clement weather at the end of the summer nevertheless allowed the vines to be supplied with water and thus to set up favourable conditions for the end of the ripening process. The crop was made up of small, ripe grapes with a well-balanced juice/skin ratio. The wines of the 2019 vintage will be very fresh, round and supple and will be good for laying down.
